Tom Willis in conversation with Betty Hoernschemeyer
Listen or Watch Now
In today's episode, we usually chat with CEOs, school superintendents, and non-profit executive directors. But today, I'm honored to introduce a truly special guest—my neighbor, Betty Hoernschemeyer. At 98 and a half years old, Betty was one of the first Rosie the Riveters during World War II, working in a Detroit factory. Despite facing immense challenges like losing siblings to the flu, the Great Depression, and a tornado that wiped out her family farm, Betty continues to see life as a blessing. Her resilience and gratitude inspire timeless lessons in leadership.
